I am a proud public educator in a large school district that is east of the DFW Metroplex in Texas, which is also where I grew up and attended school. I taught all levels of high school English and Creative Writing for eleven years before finding my dream job in the library. I have been a school librarian for sixteen years.
I earned my BA in English from Texas A&M University in College Station, my Masters of Liberal Arts from SMU, and my Masters in Library Science from University of North Texas.
When I’m not reading, writing, or walking in my neighborhood while listening to the lyrical genius of Taylor Swift, I love spending time with my football coach/teacher husband, two daughters, and our dog Scout. We love watching sports and movies together as a family.
A Soft Place to Land is my debut novel.
